A sacred reflection of who you are—and who you’re becoming.
You’ve grown, shifted, changed.
But have you paused to REALLY see yourself yet?
This session isn’t about vanity—it’s about memory, power, and proof.
Most people wait for a reason to book a portrait session. A birthday. A new job. A big transition.
But what if you didn’t need a reason?
What if your presence—as you are, right now—was reason enough?
Portraits are not a reward. They are a reflection. A chance to witness yourself with the same reverence you offer to everyone else. A moment of stillness. A declaration of self-worth.
You don’t need to deserve a session. You don’t need permission.
This experience is about anchoring into your own becoming—whatever stage you’re in. Because there is beauty in the in-between, a power in choosing to see yourself now, not just after the transformation.
I consider it a privilege and a calling to turn your experience into artistic imagery you'll treasure for the rest of your life.
“When it came time to check off a long time wishlist item of mine to take studio photos, it was a no brainer to go back to Elle!”
— Karen, Studio Lifestyle Client
HOW IT WORKS
Envision
We begin with The Vision—a guided exploration of who you are and what you want this session to represent. This isn’t a typical intake. It’s a conversation designed to clarify how you want to be seen and remembered.
Embody
From styling (The Design) to session day (The Shoot), we create a nurturing, intentional experience that allows you to show up fully. Every detail—wardrobe, hair, makeup, space—is curated to support the energy of the version of you that’s ready to emerge.
Emerge
In The Reveal, you see yourself, truly. We’ll walk through your gallery together, reflecting on the images that resonate and choosing the ones that will live on. In The Edit, you will receive your final selections, expertly retouched and finessed to perfection.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this just for individuals? May I include my loved ones?
Portrait sessions can include, or be centered around, your loved ones. Many clients choose to get their hair and makeup done, shoot part one, and then bring on their loved ones for part two. They walk away with imagery that documents their legacy for decades to come.
What will I do with these photos?
We have become a culture that posts a selection on social media and call it a day, while the rest of the gallery collects dust on your storage drive. My goal is to create imagery you want to live with, that will become a part of the story your loved ones look back on when you come to mind. Stunning wall art and albums can be intimidating (what if I choose the wrong size, or the wrong frame, or don't know how to properly install it?) but that's exactly why I have researched my product line so thoroughly, so that I can guarantee results and exceed your expectations.
Is professional hair and makeup really necessary? I want to look like myself.
You are devoting precious time, energy, and resources. I want you to look and feel your best, and part of that is understanding that makeup photographs differently with professional studio gear. That's why I work with a small circle of makeup artists who are trained for "camera-ready" makeup. The final look is entirely up to you, whether you want soft glam, full glam, or as natural as possible. I will always confirm whether you love your look once it's done, so that we can make any adjustments before we shoot!
